  • Friends from Wayside Chapel San Antonio

    DSC_0235

Rick Lowe, David & Beth Butler from Wayside Chapel's mission board came for a couple of days to visit us in Nava. Their purpose was to see some of the projects O.S.M. has done and scout out possibilities for families from their church. We were blessed and encouraged by their visit and look forward to hopefully work with them in the future. Would you and your family like to come for a visit? Let us know.

  • Steve Schapansky

    DSC_0006

Steve Schapansky came to San Antonio and Nava with our family to take some video footage for a short spot on Shelby for the Bible Bee this year in Washington D.C. Next year they hope to make a full documentary on her relationship with Christ and her life in general. A few of our close friends and our family came to our home in San Antonio and were interviewed. Then Steve came down to Nava with us to interview Pastor Santos, Sister Fini and a few people who knew her here. By the time Steve left to go home, we all felt like we had known him for years. He made us very comfortable in front of a camera, as if we were talking directly to him. Thank you so much for coming out Steve, we look forward to seeing you in Washington D.C.!!

We recieved this note today and thought some may enjoy reading it.

    Dear Kennedy Family,

The name “Toncho” appears readily in your newsletters. I have been affected by this man…by his service to children. His name weighs on me as he gives to the little ones.

Even Christ said; “Bring the children to me!”

Most times in this world children are cast off. They are told they are to be seen and not heard.  What a lie this is! It is at this young age (I believe) that spiritual warfare begins. A time when curses and lowly beliefs are put on children.

So, when I read about this man “Toncho”, and what he is doing for God by his actions with children and the gift of carpentry, it softens my heart. I feel moved to help a man that is making $1.53 an hour and is in many ways a selfless individual.

I would like to donate this check to him personally.

Give him a hug of encouragement and brotherly love from us!  And please, let him know that his actions with the “little ones” do not go unnoticed by man, so imagine how much more our Father in heaven is pleased!

      Encourage, Encourage, Encourage!!!

      Sincerely,

      Bob & Deb from Florida
